Tucker Stretches Hit String to 20 Sunday, March 31st , 2041 The hitting streak for Winter Springs HS catcher Tom Tucker now stands at 20 games, but the Bears dropped today's contest 1-0 to the Mobile Christian HS Cheetahs. Tucker went 2-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 2 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Tom Tucker grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 9th. Thus far this season, Tucker is hitting .330 with 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 29 hits in 88 at-bats and has played in 22 games. |
