2042 USCBA COL Outstanding Pitcher Award Chosen

He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Peter Campbell performed like a veteran on the hill for the Oregon State Dambusters and walked away with the United States Collegiate Baseball Association Outstanding Pitcher Award in the process.

The 18-year-old Dambusters star fashioned a 6-2 won-loss record in 2042 with a 0.93 ERA. In 68 innings of work and 12 starts, Campbell struck out 51 while giving up 47 hits and 11 walks. He held opposing batters to a .190 average.

He received 36 first place votes out of a possible 40. Joshua Hansen of the UCLA Chili Peppers finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Tony Cruz of the Michigan Red Dawns finished third.
