Best USCBA COL Reliever Named Wednesday, June 11th , 2042 Emílio Mendoza said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 18 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Tulane Jade Breakers rising star has won the United States Collegiate Baseball Association Reliever of the Year Award for 2042. He captured the award on the strength of his 0.84 ERA over 32 innings. He also had 1 save in 18 relief appearances, 22 strikeouts and only 10 walks. He received 38 first place votes out of a possible 40. Dave Carter of the Stanford Axe finished second in voting, while Kade Vinson of the Purdue Astronauts finished third.
