Going! Going! Gone! Notre Dame Fires Manager Collins Monday, June 2nd , 2042 The Notre Dame Evangelists are in need of a manager. They fired Derek Collins today. Contacted at home by BNN, Collins admitted that there was some tension over his departure, but that it was "probably for the best." When pressed, Collins was bullish about his future: "We had our ups and we had our downs, but right now I am focusing on the next stage of my career... wherever that may be. I still love the game of baseball and still think I can do the job. The Evangelists are not the only team in the world." Notre Dame officials gave no word on who the new skipper would be. |
