Campaniles Win Super Regionals Monday, May 19th , 2042 The sweet swing of Marvin Owens has led his team through the Super Regionals. The California Campaniles star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Houston Shastas to advance to the USCBA Championship Series. The Campaniles won the final game at Ballpark of California by a score of 4-0 and the series 4-1. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Owens. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Owens hit .353 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 7 runs.
