Oregon State-Southern Miss Fight Results in Suspensions Thursday, May 1st , 2042 Yesterday at Ballpark of Oregon State José Estrada and Ramón Jaramillo got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Oregon State Dambusters and Southern Miss Confederates. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Estrada will have to sit out 5 while Jaramillo would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. In the 2042 season Estrada is hitting .228 with 1 home run. To date this year, Jaramillo has compiled a 2-3 mark with a 5.69 ERA in 11 starts. |
