April's Top Hurler is Campbell Thursday, May 1st , 2042 There was little doubt around the United States Collegiate Baseball Association that Peter Campbell would be awarded Pitcher of the Month honors for April. Today, they made it official, naming the 18-year-old Oregon State Dambusters starter the latest honoree. He thoroughly dominated the hitters who stood in against him, holding them to a .164 batting average while fashioning a 0.99 ERA in 6 starts. His record for the month was 6-0 in 36.1 innings of work. This year, Campbell has compiled a 6-2 record with a 0.93 ERA. |
