Houston Crowned Kings of the American Heartland Conference Monday, April 28th , 2042 The Houston Shastas are champions of the American Heartland Conference, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the USCBA Championship Series," said third baseman Mark Patterson. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Houston." The club's record currently sits at 38-13. It is the team's 5th division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 2nd United States Collegiate Baseball Association championship. Team manager Yosuke Nakagawa said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
