Wicked Witches Won't Get Playoff Berth Wednesday, April 23rd , 2042 Postseason baseball won't be coming to Central Florida this year. The quest for the playoffs ended for the Central Florida Wicked Witches today, as they were mathematically eliminated from contention. "Not the first time I've experienced this," said Wicked Witches manager Michael Fernández, "but it never gets fun." This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2038. In total, the Wicked Witches have missed the playoffs 31 times in their 36-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Wicked Witches have only made the playoffs once. |
