Velásquez's Season Could be Over Monday, March 24th , 2042 Joe Velásquez has to call it a season. The UCONN Klondikes reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Illinois Chiefs and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Velásquez was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as radial nerve compression and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months.
