Red-Hot Bat: Casas Collects Cycle Friday, March 21st , 2042 Adrián Casas did just about everything for the Notre Dame Evangelists -- except win the game. The left fielder had a cycle wasted in his club's loss to the Memphis Belles. Despite Casas going 4-for-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored, the Evangelists were defeated, 11-6. "The guys feel like they let Adrián down," Notre Dame manager Derek Collins said later. "He did all anyone could ask and we couldn't hold up our end of the bargain." Adrián Casas hit a solo-shot off Kirby Waymark in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and was hit by a pitch in the 8th.
