Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Brooks

The number just keeps getting higher.
California left fielder Sonny Brooks has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the California won the game, 6-5, over the Georgetown Stonewalls at Ballpark of California.
"Who knows how long it will go on?" Georgetown manager David Perry said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Sonny Brooks doubled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and flied out in the 7th.
For the season, Brooks is hitting .386, batted in 14 runs with 5 home runs and 14 runs scored.
