USCBA COL Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award
Thursday, June 13th , 2041
2041 was a year to remember for Mark Bowman.

The Michigan State Persians closer was the owner of a 0.75 ERA this season over 36 innings of work. He made 27 relief appearances and had 22 saves, 26 strikeouts, 5 walks and a record of 1 win and 1 loss.

He's also now got some hardware, as the 19-year-old has been named the United States Collegiate Baseball Association Reliever of the Year Award winner.

"It's something I can tell my grandchildren some day, pretty special," he said.

He received 40 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Joel Cardenas of the East Carolina Sea Dawgs finished second in voting, while Steven Ford of the Seton Hall Rampage finished third.
