They were all words being used by the Tulane Jade Breakers after today being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. "It stings to come this close but come up short," said manager Peter Williams. The Jade Breakers have made the playoffs 11 times in their 35 years as a United States Collegiate Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 10th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2031. |
