The Math Says - Louisville Out of Playoffs
Sunday, April 28th , 2041
It's a better-luck-next-year situation for the Louisville High Fives, as the club today became mathematically eliminated from postseason consideration. Team manager Félix Ruíz said, "It's always a letdown" to miss the playoffs, but added that the club's effort was appreciated.
The High Fives have missed the playoffs 30 times in their 35 years as a United States Collegiate Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2037. In the last 10 seasons, the High Fives have only made the playoffs once.
