Bad Behavior Costs Torres and Yates
Monday, April 22nd , 2041
If there wasn't a history between Gonzalo Torres of Seton Hall and Patrick Yates of Purdue, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 9 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.
"We're both really competitive," Torres said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."
A look at his season totals shows Torres with 3 home runs, .273 BA, .349 OBP, 8 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
This season, Yates has nailed down no saves with no strikeouts in 4.2 innings. He is credited with no wins and no losses and has a 5.79 earned run average.
