Alexander Wins USCBA COL Player of the Week Prize Monday, April 22nd , 2041 St. John's Kaisers third baseman Tim Alexander walked away with the United States Collegiate Baseball Association Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Kaisers fans are really behind me right now," said the 21-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Alexander batted .591 (13-for-22) with 4 home runs and 7 RBIs this week on his way to the award. This season, Alexander has hit 19 home runs and posted a .353 batting average. |
