Thursday, April 11th , 2041
Joe Anderson of the Louisville High Fives was injured in today's game against Georgetown and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a damaged elbow ligament, and he is expected to be out for up to 9 months. It happened while Anderson was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."
This season, Anderson has been credited with no saves in 10 relief appearances. In 17.1 innings he has a 0-1 won-lost mark, 4.67 ERA and 14 strikeouts
