Confederates Mooney Named USCBA COL's #1 Player Monday, April 8th , 2041 This week Bob Mooney, first baseman for the Southern Miss Confederates, hit everything in sight to win the United States Collegiate Baseball Association Player of the Week trophy. He rattled fences and pitchers as he banged out a .423 average and .483 on-base percentage. Mooney logged 11 hits in 26 at-bats, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs, 2 walks and scored 6 times. This year, Mooney is batting .320 with 10 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
