García Grabs PCAL Reliever of the Year Award Saturday, October 18th , 2042 He may only be 22, but José García of the Quebec City Frenchies has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the Pacific Alliance. The reliever was today named the PCAL Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2042. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 32 saves in 49 relief appearances and 64 strikeouts in 53.1 innings. He had a record of 4-5 to go with his 2.19 ERA. He received 31 first place votes out of a possible 32. Iván García of the Toyohira Fubuki finished second in voting, while Jorge Lorenzo of the Seoul Crushers finished third with 1 first place vote.
