Atkins Wins Award for ATAL Dominance Saturday, October 18th , 2042 The Reliever of the Year Award goes to the Atlantic Alliance reliever who put forward the strongest season. This season, that player was Tommy Atkins of the Den Bosch Dykes, who was above all his peers in 2042. "I just feel like the ball was doing what I wanted it to this year and I was in command most nights out there," he said. "Some days you don't have your best stuff, but I didn't have too many of those days this year." On the season, Atkins pitched 107.1 innings, with 84 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.85. He also had 17 saves in 31 relief appearances. He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 32. Brendon Carr of the Maine Lobsters finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Shaun Thomson of the Beaufort Loggerdoggers finished third with 13 first place votes.
