Sea Lions Win Atlantic Alliance South Crown Tuesday, August 26th , 2042 The Monterey Sea Lions are champions of the Atlantic Alliance South, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the Great Northern Cup," said starting pitcher Kichibei Baba. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Monterey." The club's record currently sits at 83-52. It is the team's 3rd division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 1st Great Northern League championship. Team manager Dean Jefferson said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
