Insurers Lose De La Cruz for Season Saturday, August 16th , 2042 Alfredo De La Cruz will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Omaha third baseman could miss the remainder of the year. De La Cruz was injured while running the bases in the Insurers-Beatles clash at Liverpool Baseball Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured medial collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 10 months. At present, De La Cruz is batting .264 and has collected 10 home runs, 29 RBIs, .358 OBP and scored 36 runs. |
