Kichibei Matsumoto Injured, Out for Year Monday, July 28th , 2042 Kichibei Matsumoto has to call it a season. The Hampton Airborne reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Rockville Reckoning and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Matsumoto was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 5-6 months. Matsumoto has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-8 record with a 9.08 ERA. The Hampton reliever has limited opposing batters to a .329 batting average. |
