PCAL Player of the Week Selected
Monday, July 21st , 2042
Lodoss's Hogai Okada would not be denied the Pacific Alliance Player of the Week Award for this past week. His consistent stroke, which produced 11 hits in 19 at-bats and a .579 average, made him the clear favorite to win the honor.
"You just go out there and do what you have to do," said Okada, "When I'm up, I try to focus and block everything else out of my mind and have a good at-bat. I'm up there to get a hit or advance a runner, not to get caught up in the emotion of the moment. I hope I can win this award every week."
He also tallied 2 home runs, 6 RBIs, and scored 6 runs.
Thus far this season, Okada is hitting .300 with 17 home runs, 50 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has 88 hits in 293 at-bats and has played in 83 games.
