Kum Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 24 Thursday, July 3rd , 2042 Mei-shan Kum's 24-game hitting streak was snapped at Quebec City Ballpark. The 26-year-old Ikari Warriors designated hitter failed to get a hit in 1 at-bat in the game against the Quebec City Frenchies, but Ikari came out the winner, 9-6. "I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Mei-shan," Warriors manager Enrique Vázquez said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames." Looking at his season stats, Kum has compiled a .324 batting average and a .341 on-base percentage, while hitting 17 home runs and driving in 40 runs. |
