Beaufort Dazzled, Ayala Hurls No-Hitter Sunday, June 29th , 2042 Bowling Green is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Cristóbal Ayala. The 26-year-old hurler was dominating against the Beaufort Loggerdoggers, leading the Rebels to a 3-0 win at Ghoulardi Ballpark. "I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Beaufort manager Carlos Moreno said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game." Ayala had 6 strikeouts and gave up 3 walks en route to the no-hitter. "Yeah, this was a special day for me," Ayala said.
