Bokors Listless in 6-0 Loss to Castillos
Thursday, August 8th , 2041
In a seemingly effortless performance, Kunisada Nakada of the Santurce Castillos shot down the Port-au-Prince Bokors, 6-0, on 7 hits.
"Kunisada was just locating so well and using his pitches," Santurce manager Pepe Rico said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Nakada recorded 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Port-au-Prince manager Ty Lee said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
This year, Nakada has notched no saves. He has 36 strikeouts and 16 walks in 49.1 innings while registering a 3.83 ERA and a 4-0 won-lost record.
