Cho Pitches Warriors to Shutout Victory
Sunday, May 12th , 2041
The Ikari Warriors shut out the Laval Islanders, 7-0, behind the strong pitching of Dong-min Cho. Cho surrendered only 8 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 6.
Following the last out, Cho appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Laval manager Ken Tuttle, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken left-hander as the clubs left the field. Cho's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart.
The Islanders skipper would not comment on the exchange but, at the Warriors press conference, Cho confirmed that it was regarding the celebration.
"He basically told me I was being a lousy winner," Cho said.
"And I told him he was being a lousy loser," Ikari manager Enrique Vázquez added.
So far this year, Cho has 4 wins and no losses and a 0.28 ERA.
