Merritt Selected SL's #1 Newcomer Wednesday, October 1st , 2042 Last month was a very successful month for Mike Merritt of Madison. So successful that he has been honored as the Rookie of the Month in the Sovereign League. Merritt shut down league hitters in fine fashion, rounding out September with an impressive 4-0 mark and 1.53 ERA in 5 starts with 25 strikeouts in 35.1 innings. To date this year, Merritt shows a 12-9 record, 32 starts, 181.1 innings, 145 strikeouts and a 3.42 ERA. |
