Hartford Won't Make Playoffs Thursday, September 25th , 2042 It's a better-luck-next-year situation for the Hartford Harpoon, as the club today became mathematically eliminated from postseason consideration. Team manager Fernando Muñóz said, "It's always a letdown" to miss the playoffs, but added that the club's effort was appreciated. Before this season, the Harpoon last missed the playoffs in 2040. In the 36 years they have been a Planetary Extreme Baseball Alliance franchise, they have made the playoffs 7 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Harpoon have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
