Crystal Lake Crowned Kings of the Sovereign League Great Lakes Thursday, September 18th , 2042 Crystal Lake Sandgnats's manager Steve Hott ran some numbers after all the games were played today, and came to a quick realization - it's done. Crystal Lake has clinched the top spot in the division for the 17th time, and now has to be considered one of the favorites in the annual challenge for the Planetary Extreme Championship. A reporter from the Crystal Lake Today caught up with some fans who were celebrating outside of Ellison Field at Dole Park when they heard the news. "I've always believed in this team. I've been a fan of the Crystal Lake Sandgnats since the beginning," said season ticket holder John Masters. "I'm looking forward to celebrating our 2nd championship soon!" |
