Miller Wins IL Best Player Award Monday, September 15th , 2042 23-year-old John Miller sent shock waves through Planetary Extreme Baseball Alliance last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Imperial League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Miller made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .556 average, 10 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs and 3 runs batted in. Where the Hartford Harpoon right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Miller certainly made his mark last week. For the year, Miller has hit at a .372 clip with 34 RBIs, 12 home runs and 28 runs scored. |
