Washington Injured, Day-to-Day Sunday, September 14th , 2042 Is Don Washington going to tough it out and play through an injury? We'll get the chance to find out 4 weeks as the outstanding Reno center fielder attempts to shrug off a strained quad he sustained running the bases against the Madison Malts. Whether management lets him play or handles him with kid gloves will depend mostly on how Washington feels on a day-to-day basis. But there's little doubt that the Reno Zephyrs will be happy for the talented player to return at full strength as soon as possible. This season, Washington has hit at a .267 clip and produced 56 RBI, 18 home runs and 64 runs. |
