He was injured yesterday against the Farstriders while running the bases. The standout 24-year-old shortstop has a strained quad and didn't rule out playing, but did say that if pain persisted, he would not risk further injury. "José will play if he can," said the team doctor. "He hasn't got a major injury, but at the same time, we need to monitor the situation and protect him as much as possible."
