Ojeda Spins 4-0 Shutout
Thursday, September 4th , 2042
José Ojeda was in a mood to talk following the Reno Zephyrs contest against the Toyama Wind Dancers, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Wind Dancers, 4-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Ojeda said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Toyama on a 6-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 6 strikeouts.
Ojeda has posted a 13-8 record for the year with a 3.82 ERA. Teams are hitting .263 against him and he has rung up 162 strikeouts in 184 innings.
