Bears Mathematically Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 3rd , 2042 The Bakersfield Bears will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2042 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Bakersfield was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Bakersfield last appeared in the postseason in 2035. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 36-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Bears have made the playoffs 2 times. Bakersfield has won the Planetary Extreme Championship 2 times in their history. |
