Star of the Week Selected in SL Monday, August 18th , 2042 It was announced today that Fargo right fielder Bob Smith had received the Sovereign League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .471 BA (8-for-17), 3 home runs and 5 RBIs. This year, Smith is hitting .162, produced 25 RBIs and 9 home runs, scored 27 times and gotten on base at a .252 rate. |
