Recovery Slow for Bureaucrats Rien Leeuwenburgh Monday, August 11th , 2042 Arlington Bureaucrats third baseman Rien Leeuwenburgh got another setback today. His doctors informed him that his injury was not responding to treatment as well as they hoped and that he would need more time to rehabilitate. If all goes well, they expect Leeuwenburgh to be ready to go within one week. He told BNN, "I didn't expect a knee sprain to take this long to heal." So far this year, Leeuwenburgh is batting .257 with 9 home runs. |
