SL's Best Player, Burrough of Crystal Lake Monday, August 4th , 2042 Carl Burrough is respected by most Crystal Lake Sandgnats fans for his no-frills style of play. The 27-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Sovereign League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .464 average (13-for-28) with 2 home runs, 3 RBIs and 10 runs scored. Looking at his season stats, Burrough has compiled a .267 batting average and a .329 on-base percentage, while hitting 11 home runs and driving in 41 runs. |
