Ornelza Takes Home SL Top Batter Award Friday, August 1st , 2042 Though his face is weathered and his hands are callused, Juan Carlos Ornelza can still get it done in Planetary Extreme Baseball Alliance. The 35-year-old left fielder for Neo-Tokyo was named the Sovereign League Batter of the Month today after putting up an impressive performance at the plate. In July he batted .378 with 8 home runs, 17 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Thus far this season, Ornelza is hitting .283 with 13 home runs, 29 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 73 hits in 258 at-bats and has played in 71 games. |
