Aurora Ships Gutiérrez to Arlington Thursday, July 31st , 2042 After prolonged negotiations Aurora agreed to ship 27-year old RHP Martín Gutiérrez, a 5th round draft pick, and $250,000 in cash to Arlington for a 4th round draft pick. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." This season, Gutiérrez is 3-and-0 with no saves and a 5.40 ERA. He has given up 47 hits in 43.1 innings with 26 strikeouts. |
