Players Suspended in Coqui-Fishermen Donnybrook Wednesday, July 30th , 2042 If there wasn't a history between Zinedine Cozens of San Juan and Richard Cervantes of Gloucester, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Cozens said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This season, Cozens is batting at a .243 clip with 11 home runs and 32 RBIs. In 19 starts this season, Cervantes has crafted a 4-7 record with a 3.58 ERA. |
