Okinawa Slaps 10-6 Loss on Neo-Tokyo
The Okinawa Shisa and Neo-Tokyo Akira completed their game despite the inclement weather.

Good production from shortstop Marvin Schoe helped the Okinawa Shisa topple the Neo-Tokyo Akira, 10-6. Schoe was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Shisa. Álex Lodeiro picked up the win in relief for Okinawa, while Michael Arnold took the loss.

Schoe contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Okinawa in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 5-3, Schoe took a screwball from Emílio Torres and stroked the home run to right-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Shisa to leap in front, 6-5.

Afterward, Neo-Tokyo manager David Bell said: "We've hit a rough patch."

The last-place Akira dropped to 22-40.
