Chivas Rayadas Get Close Win Over Frijoles de Dios, 3-2
|
Behind an impressive start by José Torres, Guadalajara beat Guadalupe, 3-2. The Chivas Rayadas go to 23-37 with the win.
Guadalajara used a timely hit from Roberto Torres to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Chivas Rayadas ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"José was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Guadalajara manager Cisco Borges.
