Fernando León knocked in 3 runs to help Ecatepec beat San Luis Potosi, 4-2. León produced 2 singles and 1 home run. Roberto Alonaso got credit for the win, improving to 2-6. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. The 6th-place Morelos are now 26-33, the Jardineros 32-27.
With Ecatepec leading 3-2 in the top of the ninth, León hit a fastball from Lorenzo Fracso for a solo home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Morelos ahead, 4-2.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," León told a Ecatepec Observer reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
