Torrenas Hang 6-2 Loss on Chivas Rayadas
|
Zapopan Torrenas starter António Flores kept the Guadalajara Chivas Rayadas hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Zapopan is now 32-16, 4½ games up in the Zona Norte.
Lorenzo Rangel helped out the Zapopan cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 2 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Rangel.
