Jardineros Win with Late Rally
Guadalupe catcher Ángel Durango had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Durango was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk, even as San Luis Potosi beat the Frijoles de Dios, 6-5, in 10 innings. Lorenzo Fracso got credit for the save for San Luis Potosi. It was his 7th of the year. The Jardineros move to 25-20 with the win, while the Frijoles de Dios drop to 22-23.

San Luis Potosi used the timely hitting of Miguel Deleón to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Jardineros on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said San Luis Potosi field general Dave Copeland.
