Álex Hernández was locked in. The right-hander led the Naucalpan Cafe Tacvbas to a 3-2 win against the Merida Adelantados at Café Tacvbas Ballpark. Roberto Cota claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record stands at 2-1. David Valentín earned the save for Naucalpan, his 5th of the year.

Alberto Santos, who finished 3rd in the ABSF-MEX AAA in stolen bases with 34 last year, helped out the Naucalpan cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the center fielder drew 2 walks.

"When Álex's on, he's on," said Naucalpan manager Mauro Ortega.

With the win, Naucalpan pushed its record to 23-22.
