Chivas Rayadas Handed 4-2 Loss by Ecatepec
|
Ecatepec Morelos starter Félix Trinidad pitched well against the Guadalajara Chivas Rayadas at Ballpark of Ecatepec, leading his team to a win, 4-2. Jorge Montés got credit for the save for Ecatepec. It was his 1st of the year. Ecatepec goes to 17-27, Guadalajara to 18-26.
Fernando León had a big run-scoring double for the Morelos in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Ecatepec leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from José Torres, who is tied for 9th in the ABSF-MEX AAA in innings pitched with 56.2, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Morelos ahead, 3-1.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said León.
